Origins
Winery Sciaccawines borns from the passion for wine and mathematics.
Following the family traditions, Michele and Lidia, during a study stay in Barcelona, in the warm Catalan evenings, had the idea of creating a brand that combines the tradition of wine and the mathematical studies on heat transport.
The brand they choose is the bottle of Klein, a mathematical surface consisting of a single face that joins continuously the opposite walls of the bottle, mimic the idea that wine is union and sharing.
Harmony is synonymous with perfection and beauty. Leonardo Da Vinci in his works has often used the divine mathematical proportion, according to the golden relationship, creating masterpieces appreciated all over the world. So the appropriate proportion of ingredients, respecting the mathematical rigor, gives life to the good wine.
The witness of simple and sincere roots of a tradition handed down with passion from father to son is discovered in the ancestors' tools of work, from the Sicilian cart used by grandfather Michele to the presses used by grandfather Ciccio and grandfather Pino, until to arrive, returning even further back, to the screw of the distant ancestors.
